Refund & Cancellation Policy - Apan Mithila Foundation

Apan Mithila Foundation appreciates your generous contributions towards our socio-economic and cultural welfare initiatives. As an official Not-for-Profit organization, we maintain transparent policies regarding donations and event registration fees.

1. Voluntary Online Donations

• Non-Refundable Policy: Donations made to Apan Mithila Foundation (whether one-time or recurring) are treated as non-refundable grants once processed, as funds are immediately allocated to ongoing community projects, artisan welfare, and Makhana farmer training programs.
• Duplicate / Erroneous Charges: In the rare event of a technical glitch, duplicate transaction, or accidental over-deduction due to network failure during Razorpay checkout, donors may submit a written refund claim to info@apanmithila.org within 7 days of transaction date along with transaction reference details.
• Upon verification of genuine duplicate charges, approved refunds will be processed back to the original source bank account within 7 to 10 working days.

2. Workshop & Event Registration Fees

• If an offline workshop or online webinar is cancelled by Apan Mithila Foundation due to unforeseen circumstances or natural calamities, participants will receive a 100% full refund of their registration fee within 7 working days, or an option to transfer registration to the rescheduled date.
• Participant-initiated cancellations made at least 48 hours prior to event start time are eligible for a 50% credit adjustment towards future events. Cancellations made within 48 hours of event commencement are non-refundable.
